Yes, completely free. We do not charge clients anything to search, view profiles, or contact advocates.
How do I find the right advocate?
Use the practice area filters on the listings page, narrow by locality and fees, check the verified badge and ratings, then contact advocates directly via phone, WhatsApp or inquiry form.
How does verification work?
Verified advocates have provided their Bar Council enrollment certificate and ID proof, which our team has cross-checked. The blue checkmark badge indicates a verified advocate.
Do you provide legal advice?
No. DelhiAdvocates.in is a directory only. For legal advice, contact an advocate directly through their profile.
Can I trust the reviews?
Reviews are moderated for compliance and abuse, but we cannot independently verify every claim. Read multiple reviews and form your own judgement.

How do I list my practice?
Click "List your practice" on the homepage, register, fill in your details, and upload Bar Council documents. Verification takes 2-3 business days.
Is the basic listing really free?
Yes, the Free tier is genuinely free forever, with no hidden fees. Premium and Featured tiers are optional paid upgrades for additional visibility.
What happens if I am rejected?
You will receive an email with the reason. You can correct the issue (e.g., upload a clearer Bar Council certificate) and request re-verification.
Can I show success rates or case outcomes?
No. Bar Council Rule 36 prohibits this and our platform enforces it. You can share qualifications, experience, practice areas, and factual achievements (e.g., "panel lawyer for X").
How do I upgrade to Premium?
From your dashboard, go to Billing → Upgrade. Pay via UPI / Card / Net Banking through Razorpay. GST invoice is sent to your email.
Can I cancel my paid plan?

Is this BCI-compliant?
Yes. We comply with Bar Council of India Rule 36. No superlatives, no guaranteed-result claims, no success rates, no comparative advertising.
How is my data protected?
We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. All data is stored on India-based servers, encrypted in transit (HTTPS), backups are AES-256 encrypted. See our Privacy Policy.
Can I get my data deleted?
Yes. Email privacy@delhiadvocates.in with the subject "DPDP Deletion Request". Your account and personal data will be removed within 60 days.
